Our Dry Ice Detailing Process & Packages:

What is Dry Ice Detailing?

Dry ice is CO2 in solid form.  CO2 will sublimate directly into a gas when left out at ambient temperatures (anything over -79C).  Sublimation is the action of a solid turning directly into a gas (foregoing liquid stage).

The action of CO2 sublimating results in a 400-700% increase in CO2 particle size.  When solid CO2 (dry ice) is shot at a dirty substrate (your car or car parts) under high pressure the combination if high pressure and rapidly expanding CO2 causes the dirt to be expelled off the substrate surface.  What remains is a clean residue free surface.

Dry ice cleaning is an excellent application for cleaning intricate surfaces and hard to reach areas.  Multiple substrates can be detailed at the same time with no damage to a wide range of substrate types. Aluminum, ferrous metal, wiring, plastic, rubber remain unharmed by dry ice cleaning. Dry ice is non-toxic, inert, non-flammable, and bacteriostatic (inhibits reproduction or growth of bacteria). For these reasons cleaning with dry ice is environmentally-safe.

Why Dry Ice
Detailing?

  • No disassembly required to fully clean sealed and complex assemblies

  • Environmentally friendly without harmful chemical or water usage

  • Non-abrasive leaving surface clean with a factory fresh appearance

  • Clean Everything …. Rubber, plastics, bare and treated metals, even alcantara and fabrics

Packages
